Disney has revealed the full character line-up for the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, including new appearances from Chip ‘n’ Dale and expanded entertainment starring Captain Jack Sparrow, Stitch, Lilo and Angel.

The separately ticketed Halloween event returns to Magic Kingdom on selected nights from 7 August to 31 October 2026.

Guests will be able to meet characters across the park, including Disney favourites wearing Halloween costumes, rarely seen supporting characters and returning faces that were absent from last year’s event.

Some characters will appear through traditional meet-and-greets, while others will be part of roaming appearances or larger entertainment experiences.

Chip ‘n’ Dale join the 2026 character line-up

One of this year’s most notable additions is a new Chip ‘n’ Dale meet-and-greet in Frontierland.

The pair will appear near the exit of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, giving guests another character experience in an area already home to several unusual Halloween appearances.

Frontierland will also feature Shaker, Wendell, Romeo McGrowl and Big Al from the Country Bear Musical Jamboree.

Rather than remaining in a single fixed location, the Country Bears are expected to appear throughout Frontierland during the party.

Chip ‘n’ Dale are the only completely new traditional meet-and-greet currently highlighted for the 2026 event. However, Disney has also developed two larger character-led entertainment experiences for Adventureland and Tomorrowland.

Captain Jack Sparrow hosts a Buccaneer Bash

Captain Jack Sparrow will lead a new pirate-themed experience at the Adventureland Stage.

Captain Jack’s Buccaneer Bash will feature the famous pirate alongside members of his crew, expanding his role beyond the more conventional appearances offered during previous Halloween parties.

Disney has not yet provided a full performance schedule or detailed description of the experience, but it is expected to operate as an entertainment offering rather than a standard individual meet-and-greet.

Elsewhere in Adventureland, guests will be able to meet Aladdin, Abu, Princess Jasmine and Genie at Agrabah Marketplace.

Abu and Genie are among the less frequently encountered Disney characters, making the Adventureland grouping likely to become one of the party’s more popular stops.

Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup comes to Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland will host another of the event’s biggest new additions with Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup.

The new experience will bring Stitch, Lilo and Angel to the Rockettower Plaza Stage for an evolving dance party.

Disney says Stitch will explore Lilo’s costume trunk, with each new accessory changing the theme and atmosphere of the party.

The presence of Angel is particularly notable, as the character is not a regular meet-and-greet presence at Walt Disney World.

Like Captain Jack’s Buccaneer Bash, the experience is expected to focus on entertainment and character interaction rather than a traditional posed greeting.

Mirabel and Bruno return

Mirabel and Bruno from Disney’s Encanto will return to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party after missing the 2025 event.

The pair previously appeared together during the 2024 season and will once again greet guests at the Liberty Square Gazebo.

Liberty Square will also feature residents from the Haunted Mansion around the attraction.

Disney has teased that other characters could make unannounced appearances during the event. Previous parties have featured the Hitchhiking Ghosts and other Haunted Mansion personalities appearing around Liberty Square and Frontierland.

Mickey and Minnie lead the Main Street greetings

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet guests together in Halloween attire at Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A.

They will be joined inside the venue by Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jack and Sally traditionally attract some of the longest character queues at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, making them an important early stop for guests hoping to fit several greetings into one evening.

Disney Villains are also expected to roam around Main Street during the event.

The exact line-up has not been confirmed in advance, allowing characters to appear unexpectedly rather than being assigned to a permanent meet-and-greet location.

Fantasyland features the largest collection of characters

Fantasyland will contain the biggest concentration of character experiences during the 2026 party.

Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts will appear outside the Mad Tea Party, while Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella will greet guests elsewhere in the area.

Ariel and Prince Eric will appear near Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid, with Gaston meeting near his tavern.

Pluto will be positioned near the entrance to Storybook Circus.

Inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck will appear together in Halloween attire. Donald did not meet guests during the 2025 event, when Daisy was instead paired with Goofy.

Goofy is not currently included in the published 2026 character line-up.

Winnie the Pooh and his friends will also return to the Thotful Spot in their popular Halloween costumes.

Pooh will dress as a bumblebee, Piglet as a butterfly, Eeyore as a clown and Tigger as a pirate.

What else returns for 2026?

The character experiences form only one part of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade will return, with its first performance scheduled for 8:15pm to make the procession more accessible to younger visitors.

The party will also include trick-or-treat trails, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and seasonal attraction experiences.

Space Mountain will operate in complete darkness with a special soundtrack, while the Mad Tea Party will feature Halloween lighting and effects.

Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup is the headline new entertainment addition for 2026, alongside the Captain Jack Sparrow experience and roaming Disney Villains.

When does Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begin?

The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2026 takes place on 7 August.

The event will continue on selected nights through Halloween on 31 October, operating from 7pm until midnight.

Ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom from 4pm without requiring a separate daytime park ticket.

Prices vary according to the date, ranging from approximately £89 ($119) to £172 ($229) before tax. Several nights have already sold out, including the opening event and Halloween itself.

Character appearances and entertainment remain subject to change, with Disney expected to reveal further operational details once the first party takes place.

For now, the expanded Captain Jack Sparrow and Stitch experiences, the return of Mirabel and Bruno and the arrival of Chip ‘n’ Dale give character fans several new reasons to visit the 2026 event.
