ThrillSense aims to publish accurate, useful and clearly presented coverage of theme parks, attractions and the wider visitor-attraction industry.
This Editorial Policy explains how we source, write, review, disclose and update our content.
Editorial independence
ThrillSense is independently owned and operated.
Editorial decisions are made according to the relevance, accuracy and value of a story to our readers.
Coverage is not guaranteed in exchange for press access, complimentary admission, products, hospitality or commercial contact.
Where ThrillSense works with a park, tourism organisation, public relations agency or commercial partner, that organisation does not control our editorial conclusions.
Sources and verification
Our news coverage may be based on:

- Planning documents and public records
- Direct statements and interviews
- First-hand observations
- Other credible and relevant sources
Where possible, important facts such as opening dates, investment figures, attraction specifications, prices and operating arrangements are checked against an official or primary source.
Information supplied by third parties may be paraphrased for clarity, but we aim to preserve its original meaning and context.
Rumours and unconfirmed information
ThrillSense does not present rumours or speculation as confirmed fact.
Where an article discusses an unconfirmed development, the status of the information will be made clear.
We aim to distinguish between confirmed facts, credible reporting, industry speculation and personal opinion.
Headlines should not imply certainty where none exists.
News, guides and opinion
News articles focus on confirmed developments and timely information.

Reviews and first-hand coverage
Reviews reflect the honest experience and judgement of the named author.

Complimentary access does not guarantee favourable coverage.
